Last Shadow Puppets To Play Reading/Leeds

Alex Turners other band confirm their first ever live shows will take place at the festival

The Last Shadow Puppets will play their first gigs at this years Reading and Leeds festival.

Alex Turner and Miles Kane released their first album together- The Age Of Understatement- two weeks ago and it currently sits at number 4 in the chart.

The duo will be joint headliners- with The Cribs- on the Radio 1/NME Stage at both legs of the rock festival.

The Last Shadow Puppets are likely to be playing with producer James Ford as drummer and a string section.

Arctic Monkeys are set to return to the studio this summer and reportedly have six new demos ready to work on.
