The Roots Survive Tour Bus Crash

The Roots tour bus was involved in a serious crash on Wednesday whilst the hip hop group were on their way to Paris.

The groups drummer ?uestlove (no thats not a typo) blogged about the accident soon after it happened in an entry titled just wanna be the first celeb to twit....from an ambulance.

He wrote: "In reality the crash was all of about 7 seconds....but to do a 360 on the highway and end up ramped up (the van that crashed into ours was UNDER our double decker bus) in the air....is....well... a frigging miracle."

The Roots leader- who has also produced for Joss Stone and Common- added: "dog we are soooo alive right now."

In other news about the group its rumoured that they will quit touring from next year. Theyre set to become the house band for talkshow host Jimmy Fallon in 2009.
