Prince William Planning Luxury Secret Honeymoon

Wills is reportedly taking Kate to a private villa in the Indian Ocean...

Prince William is allegedly planning to whisk his new wife Kate Middleton away to a luxury resort in the Indian Ocean for their honeymoon.

According to the Daily Mail, the Royal couple - who tied the knot last Friday - will be staying in an exclusive £4,000-a-night villa in a secret resort for 10 days later this month.

It is thought that the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will leave by private jet for the tropical destination in mid-May, and will be flown by helicopter to their exclusive hideaway on one of the most romantic islands in the world.

The newspaper reports that two Scotland Yard protection officers visited the location two-weeks ago to make sure it is private enough for the pair.

The retreat is thought to be so secret, that not even Kate knows the exact whereabouts of her honeymoon yet.

A source told the Mail: "It’s one of the most incredible places you will ever visit and Kate will have the time of her life. It’s everything you could want from a honeymoon destination and more – beautiful beaches, tropical seas and complete privacy."

"The prince’s protection officers flew out two and half weeks ago to check it out and their villa has been booked and confirmed."

They continued: "It’s a real Robinson Crusoe kind of place. There are some beautiful hikes, but if you can’t be bothered to walk a golf cart will transport you. They will also deliver you a picnic with ice-cold drinks."

"If you fancy some company there is a little beach bar and a restaurant. Most people, however, prefer to eat meals brought by the butler on the privacy of their deck while watching the sunset."

While the pair plan to get away from the hysteria surrounding The Royal Wedding, Wills and Kate are also reportedly hoping to visit Hollywood later this year, with royal family journalist Andrew Morton stating that David and Victoria Beckham "would be involved" during their trip to the star-studded city.
