Two of The Stone Roses have denied reports that the band are reuniting for tour dates.

Reports claimed that the Manc’ band would get back together for lucrative gigs but it seems they were wrong.

Singer Ian Brown’s publicist said: “Ian has a solo album that he's currently working and he's always said he won't do it."

And guitarist John Squire released a statement saying that he is busy working on an exhibition of his artwork and that the reports are ‘unfounded.’

The Stone Roses split in 1996 but given the success of recent Led Zeppelin, Take That and Blur reunions the rumours say they could be the next to hit the comeback trail.
