The Wanted have exclusively told MTV.co.uk they are hoping their new single, Glad You Came, emulates the success of their debut chart-topping tune, All Time Low.

The boys, who were sitting pretty at No.1 on the Official Chart Update yesterday, are hoping the track stays at the top, with Max telling us: "It would be nice If we could get a number one again. I’m not gonna lie that’s what I want, I want a number one."

As well as discussing their dreams of scoring another hit, the boyband also revealed that they had a blast when shooting the video for Glad You Came in Ibiza, especially when it came to cavorting with hot models.

Jay revealed: "The theory of the video was take The Wanted to Ibiza and just film everything and then just cut bits that were useable. But the girls were models, they weren’t just girls we picked."

Max then admitted: "Actually no, the girl I had to spend time with was just literally picked up off the street after a night out."

Jay joked: "She was a little bit hungover but she looked great, she had a good time."

The Heart Vacancy hitmakers also admitted that Glad You Came is just a taster of what's to come from their new album, with Tom stating: "I think people will think that it’ll be exactly the same songs as the first single, but it's not. Its really mixed up, we've had a lot of input on this album."

Max agreed: "We’ve written 30 songs for the album to choose from already. I think it's a lot more grown up, we speak our minds a lot more."

We can't wait to hear The Wanted's new material! Glad You Came is out now...
