Them Crooked Vultures For Arctic Monkeys Gig?

Will the supergroup play London tonight?

15:08, Wednesday, 26 August 2009

Them Crooked Vultures will support the Arctic Monkeys at their Brixton Academy show TONIGHT- according to reports.

The supergroup features Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age/ Eagles Of Death Metal), Dave Grohl (Nirvana/ Foo Fighters) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin).

Them Crooked Vultures have so far only played four gigs since forming. Reports say they will be on stage in London at 7.30pm.

Frontman Josh Homme produced most of Arctic Monkeys’ new album Humbug so the support slot is logical.

There are also rumours that TCV will play a surprise gig at Reading or Leeds festival this weekend.

Arctic Monkeys are headlining and the trio have already unexpectedly played at three European festivals this summer.

An original album from Jones, Homme and Grohl is expected to be released later in the year.
