Thom Yorke Forms New Band
Including Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers…

Thom Yorke has put together a new band to play his solo material live.
The Radiohead frontman revealed on his blog that he’s working with Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea, Joey Waronker, Mauro Refosco and longtime producer Nigel Godrich.
The message said: “I've been getting a band together for fun to play the eraser stuff live and the new songs etc… to see if it could work!”
Thom and his cohorts will kick off with two live shows in LA on October 4 and 5 and are expected to play songs from his solo album The Eraser as well as new work.
Yorke released two new songs this month and has also contributed a track called
Hearing Damage to the
Twilight:
New Moon soundtrack.
On the blog Thom wrote: “We don't really have a name and the set will not be very long cuz ..well ...we haven't got that much material yet! But come and check it out if you are in the area.”
