Tinie Tempah Claims Fame Won't Change Him

Tinie Tempah has promised that he will not let his new-found fame go to his head.

The Frisky rapper, who enjoyed huge amounts of success with his debut number 1 single Pass Out has claimed that his new wealth will not change him.

The 24-year old MC said: "Sometimes money can overpower your decisions if you think about it too much. Some people only get up for the money and I don't want to do that."

Tempah, who is gearing up to release his second single Frisky on 7th June also claimed that his underprivileged background will help him to keep his feet firmly on the ground.

The Brand New: 10 For 10 artist told The Daily Star: "I didn't have much when I was younger but I was brought up by my parents who work really hard for everything,"

He continued:  "They understand money on every level and I'm so fortunate I have parents I can confide in and help me manage my money."

As well as talking money, the rapper who is set to support Rihanna on her UK tour also claimed he hopes to prove that young people aren't as bad as the press makes out.

Tinie explained: "The youth is always portrayed negatively as binge drinkers. You open up the papers and it's always how British youths are letting down society. But I want to show a positive side."

He added: "It's time we celebrated youth and life. That's what my music is about."
