Tom Hardy Talks Mad Max 4

British actor Tom Hardy has spoken to MTV News about playing the title role in Mad Max 4.

The young star appears in Christopher Nolan’s Inception but will next be off to Australia to take on the iconic character, last seen at cinemas in 1985.

At the Inception premiere last night he said: “I'm not really allowed to tell you… but I've just got back from Australia, I've seen all the vehicles, they look incredible again.

“It'll be a movie that is very narrative strong, story strong with a lot of action as well, back in the leathers!”

Mad Max: Fury Road is being made by the original director George Miller and is set for release in 2012.

Hardy revealed: “The action will be real as opposed to CGI and they're developing 3D cameras specifically for the job. It looks like it's going to be a combination of old school and new technology.”

Tom Hardy made his name on British TV before appearing in movies including Bronson and RockNRolla.

Inception- which also stars Leonardo Dicaprio and Ellen Page- is his first big Hollywood role.
