Calum Best, star of a new MTV show wants to reinvent his image

Calum Best announced he wants to be known for more than being a womanizer.

'I'm sick of being known as a womanizer. I don't mind the playboy image - but I don't like people calling me a seedy Lothario' " he said in a magazine interview.

In the new MTV show Totally Calum Best: The Best Is Yet To Come Calum will give up sex for 50 days " you can watch how he succeeds from July 27 on MTV One at 10 PM.

Calum admitted he went off the rails after his father, legendary football player George Best died.

'When my dad died it messed me up,' he explained. 'Being pictured wearing a towel, snorting cocaine off a hooker's body, was my lowest point. It was the wake-up call I needed, and put everything in to perspective.'

Calum says his dad would find his new quest funny " he was known as a ladies man too.

Best talked about his famous ex Lindsay Lohan and said he wishes her well with her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
