There's no denying that Dua Lipa is one of the biggest stars in the world right now. The 'Hotter than Hell' singer may have only released one album so far but with it she has scored multiple Platinum singles and her very first UK Number 1 hit 'New Rules'.
And now 'New Rules' has just achieved a massive milestone. Its video has over 900 million views on YouTube.
YES. IT'S OFFICIAL. DUA'S HIT MASTERPIECE HAS BEEN WATCHED CLOSE TO ONE BILLION TIMES.
Ever since the visual was released last July it has been an immediate hit with fans and the general public alike. Praised for its themese of female friendship and empowerment, it is easily one of the most beautifully filmed videos of the past few years.
Despite being out for over six months, the video currently receives on average over 3.5 million views a day.
We couldn't be any happier for Dua. If anyone deserves this success its her. That's not all though. 'New Rules' is currently on track to become Dua's first US hit and it has also helped her score a record-breaking five nominations at this year's BRITs.
The number is officially the most nominations that any woman has ever received at the ceremony.
Dua is up for British Female, British Breakthrough, British Album, British Single and British Video.
What an amazing start to 2018 for the 'Blow Your Mind (Mwah)' hitmaker. This is her year.
And with her new hit 'IDGAF' already rising up the charts, it looks set to get even better.
