The futuristic sequel is coming this December…

The trailer for Tron Legacy - one of the most hotly anticipated films of 2010 - has been released online by studio Disney.

The movie is a sequel to the 1982 original Tron and will hit cinemas this December in 3D.

This time Sam Flynn (played by Garrett Hedlund) will search for his dad (Oscar winner Jeff Bridges) who went missing in the first flick.

This new trailer shows lots of the Tron computer world with a light cycle race and disc-fu fight.

Tron Legacy’s soundtrack comes from Daft Punk. The trailer was first shown in cinemas before Tim Burton’s 3D Alice In Wonderland.
