Taylor Lautner has revealed that the decision to split the next instalment of the Twilight Saga into two parts was 'the right thing to do.'
Fresh from appearing at the premiere of Eclipse in LA, Taylor told our US team that by splitting Breaking Dawn in half is not only a good idea, but does the book justice.

The 18-year old stated: "I definitely think it was the right thing to do, for the movie and for the book,"
He continued:" "It's hard enough to condense 500 pages into a script, but to condense 800 and everything that's going on in 'Breaking Dawn,' it would have been impossible."
The hunky actor, better known as werewolf Jacob Black in the Twilight films also confessed there are elements of Breaking Dawn that he is anxious about shooting.
Taylor said: "It's the part I'm most looking forward to and the part I'm most nervous about: Renesmee, the baby," he claimed, referring to the vampire baby spawned by Edward and Bella.

Upon Renesmee's birth, Jacob is drawn to the youngster, ending his feud with Robert Pattinson's character Edward Cullen which Lautner suggested: "That should be very interesting to film. But I'm looking forward to it! I've got the direction of Bill Condon, so I'll be fine."
The star also addressed rumours that the fourth Twilight film will be shot in 3D adding: "Usually, 3-D is best when it takes you into another world. I could see it going both ways."
"As long as we have the story line down and as long as we bring what was written on the pages in the book to life, then we'll be fine no matter what we do."
