Twilight Eclipse Premieres In London

Minus R-Pattz, K-Stew & Taylor Lautner...

The Twilight: Saga Eclipse premiere took place in London last night without the main stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

The trio, who previously decided to snub the event appeared via video message for their Twihard fans who had camped at Leicester Square for the UK premiere.

The crowd went wild as Rob's face appeared on the big screen as the actor read a brief message to his fans from cue cards saying: “Sorry I can’t be here tonight, but I hope you have a fantastic time with the rest of the cast this evening."

He added: "Thanks for your continued support - hope you enjoy the film as much as we enjoyed making it."

At least Rob had a valid reason for not attending the premiere due to filming new flick, Water For Elephants unlike his rumoured girlfriend K-Stew and Lautner who still haven't given an exclamation for their absence.

Fans have since expressed their disappointment that the fab threesome failed to attend the event, with one fan claiming: "It's obvious we're not important enough, we cried."

However, another Twihard follower stated they felt the video messages made up for them skipping the premiere claiming: "It was really good... because even though they couldn't be here, they took time to send us nice messages."

Despite the main stars not being in London, other cast members including Ashley Greene, Kellen Lutz and Booboo Stewart hit the red carpet with Lutz claiming: “I’m loving it - this is my first premiere in London and it won’t be my last,”

Twilight Saga: Eclipse is released in the UK on 9th July...
