Hugh Jackman Talks About Taylor Lautner Playing Wolverine

Hugh Jackman has spoken about rumours that Twilight’s Taylor Lautner could play Wolverine in a new X Men prequel.
The Aussie star has played the character in four movies but now film bosses need a younger actor.

Taylor is of course familiar with playing a werewolf and has the muscles, but Hugh is more concerned about another quality.
He told E! Online: “My only question is- can he grow mutton chops?"
Jackman continued: “Actually, I think people would probably prefer him as a hairless Wolverine than a rather hairy-chested version- Certainly about a billion young girls would.”
X Men: First Class is being written and directed by Brits Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn- who had success with Kick Ass this year.
Taylor meanwhile has been confirmed for two more Twilight movies and a film version of toy Stretch Armstrong.
