Robert Pattinson and rumoured girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, are said to have celebrated New Year's Eve on the Isle of Wight.

The Twilight couple reportedly checked into the Sea Breeze Cottage in Ventnor for their low-key romantic break, where they allegedly partied with friends at the Spyglass Inn to see in 2011.

According to People.com, R-Pattz and Stewart returned to the pub on New Year's Day where they kept a "low profile" and were only hassled by a few eager fans, as they sat side-by-side, dressed in matching black jackets and jeans.

Meanwhile, the 24-year old actor is said to have hired a body double to protect himself from his overenthusiastic admirers.

Speaking of his reasons behind the body double, a source revealed to the Daily Star: "He's become the focus of a group of overzealous female fans."

"Robert is constantly inundated with fan mail, but one group of four girls have been targeting him repeatedly, telling him they want to do ruse, saucy things to him. One girl from Japan has starting turning up wherever he is."

They added: "Robert thinks there's only one thing for it and that is to increase his security and use a body double. It may seem a bit extreme but at least he can now be in two countries at once."
