Vanilla Ice Arrested

The former rapper is arrested by cops for an alleged assault on his wife

Vanilla Ice has been arrested for allegedly hitting and kicking his own wife.

The singer- real name Robert Van Winkle- was nicked by police in Florida last night after his partner Laura called them. He was then charged with Domestic Battery and taken to Palm Beach County Jail.

Reports say his wife later told police that he had only pushed her after an argument. Vanilla was apparently found by police two blocks from his home on his motorcycle last night.

The couple have been together for 11 years and have two children.

The rapper sold 15 million copies of Ice, Ice Baby in his hey-day but has since starred in reality shows like The Surreal Life.
