MTV Video Music Awards Hit LA

We can reveal that this years ceremony will hit the west coast this year

MTVs Video Music Awards will take place in Los Angeles on September 7 this year and are bound to be a massive event!

To celebrate 25 years of MTV the ceremony- which last year featured Britney Spears performance of Gimme More and fight between Tommy Lee and Kid Rock- is heading to Paramount Studios in LA.

The VMAs have not taken place in the city for ten years- in 2007 they were in Las Vegas.

MTV News will keep you posted when the performers, nominations and presenters are announced.
