Ting Tings are fighting the British corner at this years Video Music Awards

Ting Tings are up for Video Of The Year for Thats Not My Name at next months MTV Video Music Awards- we can reveal.

The British group will be up against Britney Spears Piece Of Me, Chris Browns Forever, Jonas Brothers , and Pussycat Dolls When I Grow Up for the prestigous prize.

Ting Tings are already up for the Best UK Video against Estelle, Coldplay, Duffy and Leona Lewis.

Up for Best Rock Video are Paramore, Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park and Slipknot.

The nominations for Best Female Video and Best Male Video have already been revealed. The ceremony takes place September 7 and will be presented by Russell Brand.
