About his love for Stereophonics and dressing room music…

Wayne Rooney has spoken to
MTV News just a day after he scored two goals to take Man Utd through to the
Champions League quarter finals.
The England striker was down south in London with the touring World Cup trophy- which has been brought to London by Coca Cola.
Rooney is a renowned
Stereophonics fan and has a tattoo of their album title
Just Enough Education To Perform. He told
MTV News:
“For me their words mean a lot to me and I've followed them since I was 14. They are a great band. I'm good mates with Kelly Jones who's a Leeds fan who came to watch us play them in the FA Cup - and obviously he went home a lot happier than I did.”
Asked if he listens to music in the Man U dressing room Wayne revealed: “In the dressing room some of the players put music on but it's not really my taste. Patrice Evra put his ipod in and there's not many songs I like on it to be honest!"
Asked if it was the same in the England dressing room the star player said it was more sedate. He said:
“We're not allowed to have any on. There's no music on so it's a bit quiet.”
Let's hope the players are still inspired to win the World Cup this summer!
