Will Ferrell is Hollywood’s most overpaid star- according to Forbes Magazine.

The comic actor apparently returns the least takings at the box-office in comparison to his fee.

It’s claimed that for every dollar paid to Ferrell his movies made $3.29 in cinemas.

The star’s inauspicious honour stems from flops including Land Of The Lost and Semi-Pro.

Coming second was Britain’s own Ewan McGregor who apparently brought in $3.75 for each dollar he earned.

Also included in the list were Eddie Murphy, Tom Cruise and Billy Bob Thornton.
