New York City's legendary Wu Tang Clan have announced that they'll begin work on a new album in the new year, the first since founding member Ole Dirty Bastard passed on in 2004.
Since releasing the groundbreaking Enter the Wu Tang in 1993, The Clan have produced more than 40 albums individually, but only rarely do they make like a fully formed Voltron, and come together as a group.
The last effort, Iron Flag wasn't as well received as previous releases, but a lots happened in the half decade since then.
Alongside hitting the Hollywood circuit and writing soundtrack for Kill Bill, The Rza has set things straight by penning the definitive the Wu Tang Manual, Ghostfaced Killah put out the awesome Fishscale, and, of course, ODB has passed on.
Current details are sketchy but it sounds like a late 2007 release.
They said Wu Tang Forever, and it'll be good to have 'em back...
