Diana Vickers has dumped her boyfriend after dating him for eight months.

It's been reported that the singer, who was voted out of The X Factor on Saturday, finished with student Chris Jones (18) claiming she doesnt want a boyfriend.

Vickers sparked rumours of a romance with fellow contestant Eoghan Quigg after the pair grew close during this year's competition and last week the couple were spotted together on a supposed date.

'Diana and Chris have split. She is overwhelmed with everything right now and says she doesnt want any boyfriend' a source told The Sun.

The X Factor concludes this Saturday.
