Will Ferrell Wants To Play Simon Cowell

Will Ferrell has said he’d love to play X Factor and American Idol judge Simon Cowell.

The comedian also compared Si’ to his most famous character- Anchorman newsreader Ron Burgandy.

He said: “I would love to play Simon Cowell in a movie - heck I would love it. It would be my dream role.

“He's become a legend in five years. Nobody in the States knew who he was five years ago and now he is one of the most famous people on TV.

“It wouldn't be that hard for me to play him because I see a lot of Ron Burgundy in Simon Cowell.”

He added: “Simon Cowell and Ron Burgundy are pretty much the same role, apart from Simon being ruder.”

And while Simon could hit the big screen X Factor rejects John & Edward are rumoured to be appearing on The Simpsons.
