Nicole Scherzinger filled Cheryl Cole's shoes at yesterday's X Factor boot camp.

The Pussycat Dolls star was spotted in a black and yellow dress with peep-toe stilettos as she made her way to the second stage on the competition in London.

32-year old Scherzinger, who has just returned from a romantic break in Monaco with boyfriend Lewis Hamilton will be standing in for the Girls Aloud star as she recovers from malaria.

Despite replacing Chezza, Nicole did not have a strong crowd to impress at boot camp unlike he stint as a guest judge in Manchester after the decision was made to scrap the audience due to Cole and Dannii Minogue's absence.

Both Cheryl and Dannii are expected to rejoin fellow judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh at the judges houses phase of the talent show when the final 24 hopeful's are chosen - with Chezza's group staying in the UK due to her illness.
