Belle Amie Leave The X Factor

Katie Waissel also in the bottom two…

Belle Amie have become the latest act to leave The X Factor after they were in the bottom two with Katie Waissel. For the first time this series, the results went to deadlock and the girl group was sent home with the fewest public votes.

Belle Amie chose Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson as their survival song, while Katie sang Trust In Me, made famous by Etta James in the 60s.

The result means Cheryl Cole still has all four of her acts in the girls category, while Simon Cowell is down to just one with One Direction.

It was an extra special night for all the finalists as they shared the stage with veteran rockers Bon Jovi to open the show with Livin’ On A Prayer.

Jamiroquai gave the first TV performance of White Knuckle Ride from their comeback album Rock Dust Light Star, before Rihanna stole the show with a theatrical performance of Only Girl (In The World), complete with a food fight.
