Ne-Yo Given Community Service

The RnB artist has been slapped on the wrist for driving offences

Ne-Yo has been sentenced to 24 hours of community service after he was caught speeding and driving without a licence. Georgia Police arrested the So Sick hit maker- real name Shaffer Smith- for driving 105 mph, 50 miles over the speed limit in his Range Rover. As part of the sentence he was ordered to attend a defensive driving class and fined 500- we think he can probably afford it! The Grammy winner and songwriter for Usher, Beyonce and Mario pleaded guilty to driving without a license and no contest to the reckless driving charge. For his community service Ne-Yo will be performing with local youth group Boys and Girls Club. Ne-Yo will release his next album The Year of the Gentleman in August. Written by Natalia Jorquera
