Ne-Yo: "I Can't Mention K-Fed to Britney"
The singer has been asked to write for Britney's new album, but there's one condition...
R&B singer Ne-Yo has been asked to pen tracks for Britney's comeback album but has been told to stay off the subject of K-Fed as the singer has written enough tunes about him herself.
The 'So Sick' crooner, who also wrote Beyonce's 'Irreplacable', said, "(Britney's A&R people) told me, 'No more songs about Kevin. She's got a 12-CD disc changer full of songs about Kevin. She don't need no more of those.'"
He continued, "I was like, 'All right, cool.' It's come along nicely, I did about five or six for her so far. I don't know what she's going to keep, but it's coming along nicely. If I had to make a prediction, judging not just the stuff I've done, but the stuff I've heard she's done with other people, I think she's got a shot to come back big. I really do."
Britney is also said to have enlisted the talents of cool producer Lukasz Gottwald, who has previously collaborated with Missy Elliot, Mos Def and Kelis.
However, rumours of a collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys have been denied by the boys themselves on their official website.
Shame, we were quite looking forward to Britney being a West End Girl...
