Niall Horan Plans To Work On His Second Album In 2018

Sorry Directioners, that 1D reunion will have to wait...

One Direction fans, we have some good and bad news.

Niall Horan has revealed that work on his second album will start very soon as he plans to write most of the record whilst on tour in 2018.

While this means we could be blessed with another 'Slow Hands'-sized anthem before the end of next year, it means that the 1D reunion isn't on the cards any time soon.

In a new interview, the Irish heartthrob says he will be writing the'Flicker'follow-up in between shows on his lengthy world tour, which runs from March to September next year.

“I’m touring next year. I’ll tour this record now," he told Daily Star. "I’d say over the course of the year I’ll start writing. With jamming at sound checks and things like that, things always come up – little riffs and bits and pieces.”

Even more excitingly, Niall announced that he will be hitting the studio with Julia Michaels as they will be spending two months touring together in Europe.
