It's no secret that Niall Horan's solo career has gotten off to a blockbuster start. Not only have his first two singles 'This Town' and 'Slow Hands' gone Top 10 in the UK and Platinum in the US but his third'Too Much to Ask' is climbing up the charts too.

That's not all though. Niall's debut solo album 'Flicker 'has just reached Number 1 in the US.

'Flicker' shifted a huge 152,000 chart copies in its first week, beating out Future & Young Thug's joint album 'Super ''Slimey'. The featmeans that One Direction now join the Beatles as the only bands to have threesolo albums top the charts in the US.

ZAYN's 'Mind of Mine' and Harry Styles' 'Harry Styles' were both big US Number1s too.

Taken aback by the amazing achievement, Niall took to Twitter to thank all of hisfans.

"Wow! Thank you so much. My mind is completely blown. An album that I wrote has gone to [Number 1] in the United States and I cannot thank you enough for supporting it." Ever the charmer,the Irishsuperstar added: "The fans. You are incredible."

No Niall. You're amazing. Seriously though, what a wonderful and gracious popstar.

Considering Niall's talent, we reckon that this will be the first Number 1 of many.

We cannot wait to see his career unfold and enjoy all of themusic he makes.
