Niall Horan Releases 'Too Much To Ask' and Reveals 'Flicker' Release Date
New single, release date and album artwork all at once? Oh, we love you Niall...
Tired of 'Slow Hands'? No, neither are we, but Niall Horan just dropped a brand new single for us to obsess over!
Our favourite Irish pop star - Nadine Coyle aside, obviously - is here to make our Friday even better with a lovely new single 'Too Much To Ask' and the scoop on his debut solo album.
Last night Niall revealed his album Flicker will finally be released on October 20th and unveiled the dreamy artwork (essentially just a close-up of his gorg face) before dropping the new song. We are truly spoiled.
'Too Much To Ask' is a beautiful, piano-led ballad about getting over heartbreak, which the singer says is "a very special song" to him and one of his favourites on Flicker.
Following the effortlessly euphoric 'Slow Hands' would be difficult for anyone but 'Too Much' is an excellent follow-up, with Niall's voice sounding so lovely it makes heartbreak seem painfully romantic.
The song was produced by Greg Kurstin who also produced 'This Town', which hopefully means they've made more magic together on the album.
Flicker will be the third solo One Direction album we've had so far, following Zayn's 'Mind Of Mine' and Harry Styles' self-titled LP, and it's shaping up to be just as amazing as the others.
'Too Much To Ask' makes it 3/3 brilliant songs. We really can't wait to hear the rest of the album (NEXT MONTH!) now!
