Even though the one constant in life is that Niall will have some variation of blond locks, he’s decided to switch things up during his solo-career and revert back to his natural brunette shade.

That’s right, he used to dye it ALL the time back in the day. The absolute deceit, we know.

Embracing his natural shade for the first time ever, Niall was spotted wandering around London lookingsignificantlydarkerand more mysterious than ever before.

For the benefit of anyone without night-ray vision, his hair is roughly the shade of the midnight sky -which isn'tideal when it comes to getting a clear shot.

Sure, we'llprobably always hold a torch for those OG blond highlightsbut we're willing to usher inthe dawn of a new era.
