Nicholas Hoult Wants To Keep Jennifer Lawrence Romance 'Private'
Actor worries that a public romance will damage his acting career...
Nicholas Hoult says he wants to keep his relationship with J-Law out of the limelight.
The actor told the latest issue of Hunger magazine that he finds it strange when people pry into his relationship and he worries too much media coverage could affect his career.
He said: "I always find it odd when people look into my personal life. I’m pretty private. The more people know about you and your personal life, or see you out and about, getting a photograph taken, the more difficult it is for them to imagine you playing a character.
"I don’t want people to just associate my work with my personal life."
He also revealed that the pair kept it strictly professional on the set of their new movie X-Men Days Of Future Past: "Any couple who work in the same environment don’t behave like a couple when they’re at work, and it’s like that on set."
Meanwhile, The Sun claims that the pair have put in an offer on a seven-bedroom barn conversion near Hook in Hants. The couple are said to have viewed the £1.3 million house while visiting Nicholas's family at Christmas and decided to buy it after spending the day in local pubs and restaurants.
But don't be expecting wedding bells any time soon as E! Online reports that a story claiming they were engaged, printed in OK! Magazine in the US, is completely false.
