Nick Jonas Says Acting Is Now A ‘Major Priority’
Watch out for Nick on the big screen very soon...
He might be super busy making us melt with his unstoppable ability to create a flawless pop classic, but it seems there’s now another priority in Nick Jonas’ life.
Sadly, that’s not a priority that involves feeding us grapes on demand, but a it's very exciting priority nonetheless.
Nick has revealed that acting has become a ‘major priority’ for him, having landed roles in TV shows Kingdom and Scream Queens and upcoming movie Goat, which focuses on the shocking hazing rituals fraternities can use for initiation.
Having a chat with America’s OK! magazine about ‘Goat’ and all things dramatic, Nick revealed: “Acting has become a major priority for me. (Goat is about) this idea of brotherhood and masculinity. The desire to feel accepted by these young men — and the lengths they’re willing to go to.”
The multi-talented star also spoke about dealing with criticism, admitting he doesn’t mind as long as ‘it’s based in what the work is’.
A good point, right?
He explained: “I am very critical of myself, and I like people who have an opinion. I am one of those people. But when (criticism) is uneducated, I get frustrated. When I started on my own, there was a lot of bias that I didn’t like."
