98 Degrees Singer Nick Lachey Calls 5ive "Worst 90s Pop Group"

98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey has deemed British boy band 5ive the worst 90s pop group.

Singer turned TV personality Nick – who was briefly married to Jessica Simpson from 2002-2006 – was appearing on Watch What Happens Live this week when he was asked to pick the worst pop group of the 90s.

When Nick hesitated, host Andy Cohen suggested 5ive, to which Nick replied: “It's so funny you call them out. That's exactly who I was gonna say!"

Nick went on to explain: “We had a big time beef with those guys."
"We were on the Smash Hits tour in the U.K. with a bunch of pop groups at the time, and 5ive, for whatever reason, just had it out for us," he recalled of the 1998 shows. "So we used to battle every night."

Last year 5ive reformed on The Big Reunion  minus fifth member J Brown. Yesterday the Sun reported that the foursome were now down to three after Abz Love left the group, who have also parted ways with their manager, Chris Herbert.
