The 27th annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards has gone down in Los Angeles - with as many almost as many celebs getting slimed as picked up gongs.

Hosted by Mark Wahlberg, guests at the show included Pharrell Williams - who donned a Spongebob Squarepants onesie before getting sprayed with green gunk.

And The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, who unwisely kept her mouth open as she took the same spraying as Pharrell.

Jennifer Lawrence won two categories - Favourite Movie Actress and Favourite Female Buttkicker - while The Hunger Games: Catching Fire took the Favourite Movie award.

And One Direction won the Favourite Song Award for Story of My Life and the prize for Favourite Music Group.

Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez were also among the winners, with Grande being named Favourite TV Actress for Sam & Cat, while Sel-Go took the Favourite Female Singer award.

Despite escaping a sliming for most of the show, host Wahlberg eventually got a dousing at the end of the proceedings.

1D and The Hunger Games were both big winners last year too.

The event can be watched on Nickelodeon from 5pm today (30 March).
