Did Nicki Minaj Diss Iggy Azalea During BET Awards Winners Speech?

Star appeared to throw shade on the Aussie rapper when accepting the gong for Best Female Hip Hop Artist...

Nicki Minaj appeared to slam rap rival Iggy Azalea on stage at the BET Awards 2014 last night (Sunday, June 29).

For the fifth consecutive year, the Young Money rapper took home the Best Female Hip Hop Artist accolade, and when she took to the stage to accept the coveted award, she also took the opportunity to call out rappers who don’t write their own rhymes.

"What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is that when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it," she announced to a roar of cheers and applause.

While the Pills N Potions rapper didn’t mention Azalea by name, it's widely rumoured that Iggy uses ghost writers - including her mentor T.I. - with Nicki fuelling rumours by appearing to diss the Aussie star.

And then she added: "And no, no, no, no, no, no shade, um..."

Azalea is yet to respond to Minaj's apparent diss. Get ready for an all-out Twitter war!
