Nicki Minaj & Drake Get "Romantic" In New Video
The Queen Barbie also addresses those Drizzy relationship rumours...
The promo, which is premiering Stateside later today, shows the Check It Out rapper marrying Drizzy, with Minaj admitting that the video has a "romantic storyline."
Speaking of Drake and the clip to our US Team, the 26-year old star confessed: "People have come to be intrigued about us and we're shooting the video together, so I was like, 'There has to be some kind of romantic story line.' So we put a few things in there that we don't give away."
Despite rumours that the Young Money stars kissed last month, Minaj has insisted that she and Drake are "just friends", regardless of his flirty comments about her in recent interviews.
Minaj claimed: "This is someone that I'm gonna hit on the [phone] later today, like, 'What's up,' It's a family affair when it's Drake."
The Queen Barbie has also admitted that she "cringes" when she meets her younger fans because she doesn't think they are old enough to listen to her material.
In a interview with The Sun, the Right Thru Me hitmaker confessed: "Being honest, if I had a daughter I wouldn't want her listening to a Nicki Minaj CD until she was a certain age. Even when I meet my fans and they tell me they are 12, I cringe a little."
She explained: "I always say, 'Listen. I don't want you saying the bad words, put school first''. At the same time, I am like their bigger sister. I'm not like their mum. You have to tell kids this is the real world but they don't have to go down this road. Just pay attention and do your best."
Minaj added: "When they really connect with me they know how big I am on school and how I always promote independence for women."
