Nicki Minaj Flashes Nipple During TV Performance
Nicki Minaj had a wardrobe malfunction on 5 August when her top fell down to expose her left nipple during a performance on Good Morning America.
The Pink Friday rapper was performing as part of the show’s summer series of gigs in Central Park. Thousands of fans had camped through the night to see Nicki perform a set which included Moment 4 Life, Super Bass and Where Them Girls At.
The Young Money star was midway through the energetic set, which saw her bounding around the stage with her backing dancers, when the nipple slip occurred. Despite the show being on a five-second delay, producers weren’t able to censor the clip in time, so it aired live across the east coast of the US.
A spokesperson for the network was quick to apologise: "Although we had a five-second delay in place for the Nicki Minaj concert on GMA , the live east coast feed of the concert regrettably included certain fleeting images of the performer that were taken out of later feeds of the broadcast in other time zones. We are sorry that this occurred."
The show aired later on the west coast of America; the slip-up was edited out of that version.
