Nicki Minaj has paid tribute to one of her fans who died after attending her concert in Japan.
TheYoung Money star took to Twitter to honour Nicola Furlong, who was found dead in her hotel room just hours after she attended Minaj's Pink Friday tour show at Zepp Toyko.
Minaj tweeted: "Saddened to learn one of my precious fans; found tragically (dead) in Japan. My love & prayers are with the family of Nicola Furlong."
According to Digital Spy, Furlong was an exchange student from Dublin City University and was due to return to Ireland next month.
The International Business Times has since reported that an American backing-dancer, named as James Blackston, and a 19-year old musician were arrested by police in connection with Nicola's passing.
It was speculated that the men were associated with Nicki, something the 29-year old star has strongly denied.
She added on Twitter: "My dancers had nothing to do w/this tragedy. No one in my entourage was questioned or arrested. They all flew home from Japan."
Minaj is due to bring her Pink Friday tour to London on 24th June, with UK trio StooShe confirmed to support the singer.
