Nicki Minaj Releases New Free Track For Fans

Nicki Minaj has given her Barbz a belated Christmas present: a new  track!

Nicki has released a remix of female rap group PTAF’s track Boss Ass B****, which went viral on YouTube last year, racking up nearly 10 million views.

The self-styled ‘King and Queen of New York’ has given the track a new set of lyrics over its original low-fi beat – although the chorus remains the same - and released it via her website for fans to stream and download.

The surprise release comes ahead of a busy year for Nicki. Having quit American Idol, she is planning to spend next year focusing on music – and film.

Currently the Starships rapper is  in the studio recording a new album which is rumoured to drop sometime in 2014 while next April will see her silver screen debut: Minaj recently finish filming a comedy called The Other Woman, in which she plays Cameron Diaz’s assistant at a law firm.
