Nicki Minaj Reveals 'The Pink Print' LP Is Inspired By Jay Z!

Pills N Potions singer says she wants to set the mould for female rappers, much like Jigga did for the guys with his Blueprint LP...

Nicki Minaj has admitted that the title of her new album, The Pink Print, was inspired by Jay Z.

During an interview with Power 105.1 FM, the Pills N Potions star revealed that she wants to set the tone for female rappers with her new LP, much like Jigga did for male rappers with his iconic Blueprint record.

She explained: "He did such a great job of creating this Blueprint brand for male rappers, I felt. And I studied a lot of his blueprint, just in terms of becoming a mogul.

"I wanted to do that, I wanted to be like Jay Z. I felt like with what I'm doing, I want female rappers to be able to pattern themselves with what I've done one day."

The Young Money babe added: "I think everybody knows how obsessed I am with Jay Z!"

Nicki went on to brand her forthcoming release as a "classic", stating: "It's gonna feel so good and it will probably be one that female rappers will look to as a 'pink print' for years to come."

The Pink Print is expected to be release by the end of this year. We can't wait!
