Nicki Minaj has been announced as the latest artist to be performing at the 2014 MTV VMAs.

The hip-hop titan will be performing her pounding new single Anaconda, taken from her highly anticipated album The PinkPrint, which is due out later this year.

“The VMAs is a pretty big deal so people go all out for it,” saidNicki Minaj.“I am very, very excited and looking forward to the performance.”

Minaj is no stranger to the Forum stage in Inglewood, California, having performed with Alicia Keys in 2012 for a fiery performance of Girl On Fire, as wellshowcasing her number one single, Your Love, in 2011 at the bash.

The rapper already has an impressive collection of VMA Moonmans, having collected one in 2011 for Best Hip-Hop Videofor Super Bassand again in 2012 for Best Female Video with Starships.

Minaj joins the likes of Beyoncé, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Usher and Ariana Grande who are also performing at the event which takes place Sunday, August 24.
