Nicki Minaj has been building up to her highly anticipated next album 'QUEEN' for a while now, and with the Ariana Grande featuring track ‘Bed’, as well as ‘Chun-Li’ and ‘Rich Sex’ already released – you can tell we’re getting close to that 10th of August drop date.

Minaj took to twitter today to reveal to fans that a sample of Tracy Chapman for the upcoming album hadn’t yet been cleared.This meant that the album can’t actually be released in full in its current state – so she was stuck with a predicament…

Push back the 'QUEEN'release date or remove the song from the record???

Of course, the necessary and only right way of solving this was to ask her fans directly via Twitter – but choose carefully, if we take the album sooner we may never get that track!You can votebelow!

It's actually such a hard decision, we don't know what to do. We've been waiting sooo long but we want 'QUEEN' at it's 100% ahhhhh. We're fully split in our decision making.

Nicki also publically reached out to Tracy Chapman to try and get the sample cleared sooner without having to push back the album – “Tracy Chapman, can you please hit me” she tweeted.

We’re PRAYING that the sample gets cleared AND the album still comes out on time – we can’t wait any mooooore!
