Nicole Scherzinger has claimed that she misses the Pussycat Dolls now that she has kick-started her solo career.
The Poison singer starred alongside Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts and Melody Thornton in the girlband, before they quit the project to pursue their own solo ventures and have since been replaced by four new members.

Despite rumours of jealousy within the Dolls camp, Scherzinger has claimed that she misses the girls' "energy and presence" when performing.
Speaking about her solo career to the BBC, Scherzinger explained: "Obvious you’ve gotta be courageous and brave. Some of the girls left and wanted to pursue solo careers and in the end we’re all individuals, I’m really happy for them."
"Doing solo stuff gave me the opportunity to continue music, which is what I love. I’m more sad because I miss them on stage and their presence and energy, but I still carry it with me."
She added: “But I’m excited, because I love the music and the album I’m working on. This is a great time for me.”
As for her new material outside of the Pussycat Dolls, the Baby Love hitmaker stated: “I feel unleashed. The music is just rocking out and it’s up tempo and makes you want to dance.”
Scherzinger, who performed Poison on The X Factor last Sunday, is also still in the running to join Simon Cowell and rumoured judge Cheryl Cole on the panel of the American XF, with reports suggesting that Geordie Chezza may need subtitles on the show, after fears that viewers in the US won't be able to understand her strong Newcastle twang.
