Nicole Scherzinger To Quit The X Factor?
Judge may leave to pursue pop career, visits Jahmene's home town first...
She said: “I’m really glad I did the show. I don’t know if I’ll come back next year. End on a high, right?”
Nicole, who is working on a new album, is said to be keen to focus on her music career and go on tour.
She added: “This year has changed my life. As an artist, it’s put into perspective what I want, how to go about it. People have made me so comfortable and I have to thank you.”
However, it seems her decision isn’t yet final. When asked if she would reconsider for a pay rise, she laughed: “That’s what I’m talking about!”
Yesterday the judge performed with Jahmene at his hometown of Swindon, Wiltshire, and visited the Asda store where the show finalist used to work. There, the supermarket presented Jahmene and his mum Mandy with a cheque for £10,000 for Women's Aid, a charity working to end domestic violence against women and children.
Jahmene's dad was sent to prison for GBH against Mandy in 2003 and the contestant recently spoke of the trauma experienced during his childhood.
Posting on Twitter, Jahmene wrote: "On our waaayy. Got the Crazy Nicole with me ready to see you all :-) <3"
He later added: "Heading back to zee hometown swindooonn! First stop my ...old work place ASDA Walmart at 10 o'clock!! :-) #excited woooo."
Scherzinger has also visited James Arthur's hometown of Saltburn-by-the-Sea and joined him on stage as he performed a free gig at the Middlesbrough Town Hall.
Earlier this week, Nicole accompanied the talent show finalists to switch on the Christmas lights and meet with Prime Minister David Cameron at Downing Street.
