Nintendo Unveil New Console And It's Cheaper Than The Switch
We can’t wait to play this.
On July 28, 2017, the super-sized 2DS will launch in Europe, boasting in-built amiibo support, fast processing power, and a “deep library of games” (there’s currently over 1000 2/3DS games available!).
The screen clocks in a 4.88 inches, and the system will weigh in at 260 grams. There’s a C stick - which allows for “sensitive controls depending on how hard you press” - plus ZL/ZR buttons, too. The console even ships with a 4GB memory card, so you’ll be ready to play as soon as it arrives!

There’ll be two versions available at launch - a black and turquoise edition, and a super cute white and orange one.
Not keen on rebuying all your 3DS games for a 2D system? We don’t blame you. But it seems Nintendo has already thought of this; all your 3DS games will be playable in your 2DS system, they just won’t have 3D graphics.
And that’s not all! Three new 2/3DS games were announced, too: Hey! Pikmin!, Miitopia, and Dr. Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training: Can you stay focused?
Can’t wait that long for a new game? Well it’s lucky we have a list of all the latest and greatest releases, then, eh?
