You Won’t Believe Which Classic Console Nintendo Might Be Remaking Next
Nintendo may be following-up on the success of the Nintendo Classic Mini with a miniature version of Super NES, too.
According to Eurogamer, the console is already in development and thought to release later this year. It’s expected to have the same pick-up-and-play-awesomeness of the NES Classic, plus a load of SNES favourites pre-loaded and ready to go.
The super cute NES Classic took retailers by store, leaving many struggling to keep up with consumer demand. Some were surprised that Nintendo has already announced production on the mini system has been cancelled, but rumour has it, the cancellation may be to increase demand for the SNES Mini…
Whenever it comes out, we hope the SNES Classic also comes with another secret message hidden inside! The message, left by a coder who goes by the name “The Hanafuda Captain” reads: “This is the hanafuda captain speaking. Launching emulation in 3...2...1. Many efforts, tears and countless hours have been put into this jewel. So, please keep this place tidied up and don't break everything! Cheers, the hanafuda captain.”
