Fans Discover Secret Hidden In EVERY Nintendo Switch Ever Sold

It's hidden in yours right now.

Fans have found a secret game hidden in the Nintendo Switch.

Switchbrew found a copy of the 1984 NES-classic, NES Golf, hidden in the system’s software, complete with a preinstalled NES emulator to run it (the software you need to run older games on new systems). It turns out the filenames are “flog”... which is “golf” backwards!

Right now there’s no official means of getting the game up and running on your screen, but it’s widely thought the emulator’s there ready for the upcoming arcade classics coming to Switch next year, including Super Mario Bros. and Punch Out!!

As for why there’s a secret copy of NES Golf on our Switch systems? It’s been reported that it’s even been updated to work with the Switch’s Joy-Con controllers, so perhaps it was planned to be a surprise gift for when Switch’s subscription service goes live next year? What do you think?

While we’re on the topic of Nintendo Switch, if you’re looking for the latest info on Super Mario Odyssey, look no further - we’ve got you covered. And did you know an accidental offensive gesture had to be removed from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

Wondering what else is new? Here’s our picks of the latest games!
