Super Nintendo World At Universal Studios Gets New Teaser Image And More
Great news gaming thrill seekers!
Great news gaming thrill seekers! Nintendo has teamed up with Universal Studios and shown off more teasers including that it will be opening its Super Nintendo World park attraction at the theme park soon.
The Super Nintendo World park, announced previously, will open at Universal Studios in Tokyo in time for the 2020 Olympic games in Japan and will then arrive in the Hollywood and Orlando parks afterwards.
Other new details have also been added beyond date and locations. Not only will Super Mario and friends be making appearances but also other, “globally popular Nintendo characters”.
The teaser image, above, was tweeted showing off conceptual designs of how the park will look. As you can see it reveals a few characters and location appearances we can hopefully look forward to. The image shows off Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, plus the castles of Peach and Bowser.
The park will feature: “state-of-the-art rides, interactive areas, shops and restaurants, all featuring Nintendo's most popular characters and games.” You’d hope so when you consider this development is costing a whopping 50 billion yen, which is about £345 million. When you consider all the fun that will create, and over a million jobs that are estimated to be created, it’s money well spent, right?
